You have arrived
at the right place for Aviation and Flight Simulation
Hello
every one, my name is Andres Cecchetti, and I would like to thank you for
stopping by my page. This is an Aviation, and Flight Simulation page.
I love the two of them, and they go together nicely. A little about
myself. I am a student at the Ohio State University majoring in Aviation.
I do not hold a pilot license, but I am trying my best to get one.
In the meanwhile I satisfy my flying urges by being a pilot for Northwest
Virtual Airlines. A great virtual airline to fly for. I live
in Columbus Ohio, and this picture here is Port
Columbus International. This is a Class C airport
with three runways, two of them active. A fifteen year plan for restructuring
of the terminal area, new parking lot, new ATC tower, and and perhaps another
runway, look very good. In this page you will find material and information
about aviation, and flight simulation alike. I will definitely have
reviews on anything from the best aircraft to the most realistic panels.
I will have all sorts of files to download as well. Anything from
real airport images, to flight simulator sceneries. Enjoy!
This is gate B 16 at Port Columbus, seen here through the scenery Ohio
98 for FS98. At the gate is my DC-9-15 being prepared for departure
to fly the scheduled service from Port Columbus International to Northwest's
mini hub at Dertroit Metropolitan Wayne County International. Though
the DC-9 series is more than 30 years of age, complete overhauls of the
aircraft are being done to keep the aircraft in good flying condition.
Carriers like Northwest Airlines are doing their job in keeping this small
jet liner in place well into the 20th century by upgrading their DC-9 fleet.
Northwest airlines is the largest operator of DC-9's, and they are slowly
retrofitting them with newer equipment such as low level wind shear detection,
in order for them to meet and exceed federal regulations of air worthiness.
